Dating Delilah

Last week Torchie shared about keeping it pure. I don’t know about you but it as he shared, the Holy Spirit convicted of certain areas like my dressing and my thoughts. As much as I argued with God about how I’m fine in this area, the one scripture He replied with said it all:

1 Corinthians 10: 12

So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!

This really made me realise that the reason I was saying I was fine in this area was because of pride. So I humbled myself, allowed the Holy Spirit to bring to mind things He wanted me to change. I also allowed the Holy Spirit to convict me at any time when I fall into the same habits.

One of my favourite youth pastors to listen to is Ps Judah Smith, the pastor of Generation Church, the youth ministry of The City church (the link will take you to the podcasts or you can get them from itunes).
